Notably, Sagrado is the only institution in Puerto Rico to offer a bachelor’s degree in dance.
Challenges
Universidad del Sagrado Corazón faced significant challenges in its budgeting, planning, and financial reporting processes. Relying on multiple, disconnected spreadsheets led to inefficiencies, inaccuracies, and a lack of collaboration across departments. These issues resulted in delays and hindered decision-making capabilities. The university needed a solution that could automate financial processes, improve accuracy, and streamline operations.

Solution
To address these challenges, Sagrado turned to Prophix, introduced by Fusionworks through a live webinar. The selection process prioritized user-friendliness, automation, and seamless integration with existing systems, including the university’s ERP, Kuali. Unlike other organizations that undergo extensive vendor evaluations, Sagrado did not extensively consider alternative solutions. Their decision was driven by a strong trust in Fusionworks’ expertise and the confidence instilled in the Prophix demo.
With Fusionworks’ expert guidance, the university successfully implemented Prophix in phases—starting with budget formulation and then integrating it with its ERP and operational systems. Within three months, the entire reporting and budgeting framework was fully operational.
